The flexible material helps reduce irritation and scratches during extended wear, while the silver antimicrobial coating protects the wristband against degradation in demanding healthcare environments.
Designed for direct thermal printing, the cartridge requires no ribbon, ink, or toner, reducing maintenance and operating costs. The wristbands produce high-quality barcodes that remain readable even after exposure to water, alcohol, hand sanitizers, abrasion, and other common hospital substances. Independent testing has shown that Z-Band UltraSoft wristbands can be up to four times more durable against hand sanitizers than leading competing products.
